21 January 2023. How our perspectives change over the years. My younger self despised the bad guys who scuppered a protagonist’s plans and dreams. But no more, although that does depend on the individual ‘villain’. Today, I love nothing more than creating strong despicable characters and promise to include at least one in each story. Personally, as a writer, deliciously despicable characters are extremely fun to create where my aim is to make the reader shout in protest, cringe with disbelief and question the writer’s warped mindset😉
