30 April 2023. I’ve reached a point while writing 𝐸𝒹𝑔𝑒𝒲𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓇 Part 1, that a late sudden change of direction was needed and fully understand that it alters the story moving forward, including Part 2.

But, killing a main character will enhance the story in good ways as well.

I do not always wrestle with my decision to kill a character, but I have on this occasion. I had an in-depth discussion with the character, and while they tried their hardest to convince me otherwise, they did see the relevance by the sudden curve ball and that this tragedy makes an overall powerful impact.
