14 July 2023. I am energised before placing fingers on the keyboard and sometimes need to re-read a scene over and over before figuring out how to best describe my character's feelings or what predicament they are in.

I find that there’s a fine line between breaking it down and being mindful in not prolonging the mayhem and going off tangent by losing the momentum.

On these occasions it would be acceptable if my character shouted at me to hurry up and be done with it🫤😬
